Brief Information: Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has released the
notification for the UPSC NDA/NA II 2020 Examination. The examination would be
conducted for a total of 413 vacancies – 370 for National Defense Academy and
43 for the Naval Academy. Interested candidates are required to apply online on
upsconline.nic.in before the last date which is July 6, 2020. The detailed notification

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status
Only unmarried male candidates born not
earlier than 02nd January, 2002 and not later than 1 st January, 2005 are
eligible.
Educational Qualification
>> For
Army Wing of National Defense Academy
:—12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern
of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education
Board or a University.
>>
For Air Force and Naval Wings of
National Defense Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian
Naval Academy :—12th Class pass with
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education
or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates
who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education
or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
Pay Scale
On
successful commissioning, the pay in the Pay matrix of the Officer commissioned
shall be fixed in first Cell of Level 10 and the period of training shall not
be treated as commissioned service and arrears on account of admissible
allowances, as applicable, for the training period shall be paid to cadets.
